How amazing is it that the very first Gerber Baby (91 years old) has met the latest Gerber Baby (Lucas Warren)!
Ann Taylor Cook became Gerber’s first SpokesBaby after a charcoal drawing of her was submitted in a company contest in 1928. That drawing is still on Gerber products. The youngest is the adorable Lucas Warren who has Down Syndrome.
When the newest and the original Gerber Babies first met in June 2018, they became fast friends.
“As soon as we walked into the room, she and Lucas immediately bonded,” Little Lucas’ parents said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Lucas walked right up to her, flashing his signature smile and waving, and we could tell he loved her right away.”
Ann Taylor Cook’s grandson, Chris Collin, says of his grandmother:
“She just loves babies,” Colin tells PEOPLE. “She thinks of herself as sort of the face of babies. And because of this funny thing that happened, she gets to meet all these really wonderfully cute little babies in life.”
Aren’t these two just the cutest together?
